The BOQ status pages answer one question. For an area, a BOQ item or a category: how much did we plan, and how much did we measure in a period? A bill of quantities (BOQ) is the list of work items with quantity and rate for a project.

You do not open these pages from the left menu. You reach them from a link inside an MIS report that Superwise sends as a PDF. The link carries the area or the BOQ item and the dates of the period. The page title shows what you chose.

There are two kinds of page. They have the same columns.

- **Status of area** shows the BOQ items of one area or one task in the period.
- **Status of BOQ** shows one BOQ item, or the items of one category or of the whole project, in the period.

## Before you start

- Open an MIS report PDF and click the link of an area or a BOQ item.

## How to read the status table

1. Read the table. Each row is one BOQ item.
2. To find an item, type in the box **Search**. The box filters by the **Title** column.
3. To sort, click a column name.
4. Read the last row, **Total**. It adds up **Planned Cost in Area** and **Measured Cost in Area**.

## How to open the measurement sheets of an item

1. Click the arrow at the start of the row.
2. Read the table **Measurement Sheets** under the row. It lists each sheet of the item in the period.

If the table shows **No measurement sheets.**, nobody measured that item in the period.

## What the columns mean

| Name | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| **Title** | The name of the BOQ item. |
| **Planned Cost in Area** | The planned cost of the item in the chosen area or period. |
| **Measured Cost in Area** | The cost of the work that is measured in the chosen area or period. |
| **Planned Quantity in Area** | The planned quantity, with its unit. |
| **Actual Completed Quantity in Area** | The quantity that is measured as done. |
| **Total Planned Quantity** | The planned quantity of the item in the whole project. |

The table **Measurement Sheets** has these columns: **Created On**, **Measurement Date**, **Task Title**, **Title**, **Quantity** and **Created By Name**.

## Rules to know

- The period comes from the link. You cannot change it on the page. Open another link of the report to change it.
- The page is read only.
- Without the View Measurement Book permission, the table under a row says **You do not have access to the measurement book.**
- If no item falls in the period, the page says **No BOQ items in this period.**
