A user is a person who signs in to Superwise. The roles you give the user decide what the person can see and do. The projects you give the user decide which projects the person can open. Site staff who do not sign in are not users. Add them under Staff (non-users).

Before you start

  • Create the roles first. See Roles. A user needs at least one role.
  • Create the projects the user will work on. See Projects. You can also give projects later.
  • For a person from another company, such as a contractor, add the company first. See Organizations.
  • Create departments if you want to use them. See Departments.

How to add a user

  1. Open Company settings in the left menu, then General, then Users.
  2. Click Add User (mark 1 in the first picture).
  3. In Name, type the full name. The most is 30 characters.
  4. In Designation, type the job title, for example Chief of Planning.
  5. In Email, type the work e-mail address. The person uses it to sign in. Each address can be used once.
  6. In Phone No, type the phone number.
  7. In Roles, choose one or more roles.
  8. In Projects, choose the projects the user can open.
  9. In Departments, choose the departments of the user. This is optional.
